"Some Say the world will end in fire,
Some say in ice.
From what I've tasted of desire
I hold with those who favor fire.
But if it had to perish twice,
I think I know enough of hate
To say that for destruction ice
Is also great
And would suffice." -- Robert Frost

Beautiful poem by Robert Frost, Isn't it? But to be honest, this is not why the blog is titled "Fire, Ice and all things nice! 😊 This was the title of an article published in 'The Hindu' few days back and I loved the title so much that i registered it on blogger on the same day.Now that the curiosity on the the blog title is sated, let me blabber a bit more on the reason I started blogging.

I started blogging in the year 2010. The person who introduced me to blogger was my college crush (and he isn't even aware about my existence 😜 ).During those ancient times, orkut was your social media evolution in its initial stages equivalent to amoeba in human evolution and so while stalking my crush there, I came across a link to his blog. That's when I saw the platform for the first time and realized I wanted to write too. I was such a nut case back then that I coined a blogging name similar to his...weeee 😜.  Just for trivia, he never wrote more than two posts on that blog ;) Sometimes  Inspiration comes in strange ways and more so unlikely situations.

Now being a few years older and wiser (or so I would like to think 😏), I decided to start blogging afresh , with a new blogger name, with different type of content and more importantly trying to take this up more consistently. I aim to write about my Indian life in general, my experiments with cooking and the most important aspect of my life,i.e. practicing Sahaja Yoga.In short everything that makes me Indian. There could be more additions to this list as and when I come across something interesting and inspiring enough to write.

Professionally, I have 6.6 years of overall IT experience. In these years. I have worked on Configuration Management, Continuous Integration and DevOps with alm tools like SVN, TeamForge,GIT, IBM rational tools like ClearCase, JAZZ platform and Microsoft TFS and Chef. Gradually, with my strong intent to be in some way related to writing and gaining domain knowledge I switched to the role of Technical writer in my current organization.

On the Personal front , I was born and brought up in Mumbai ( a Thane district suburb called Dombivli, to be precise). And currently, I am settled in Bangalore post marriage.

P.S: If you ever like what you read here, please be kind enough to let me know the same. I would love to read your comments. It puts a smile on my face, like this  tingggg!!
